In May 2021, African Children’s Aid Education and Development Foundation (ACAEDF) marked her 7th year anniversary with the theme ‘Children for Change Celebration – CHICC’.
The event started officially on Friday 21st of May 2021 with a press briefing where the history and challenges of the organization were discussed together with the need for good structural education for children. The final match of the novelty football competition which started on Monday 17th of May was also concluded on Friday 21st May between team David and team Anja Senior boys, where team David won.
The grand event of the anniversary celebration was the children-centered fashion show which took place on Tuesday 25th of May after the boxing competition which occurred earlier that day. The fashion show featured fifty (50) different African attires worn by 25 children showcasing the world of African beauty which was targeted at raising children to be change agents and to achieve support for the anniversary project – Access to good education, clean and healthy water for thousands of inhabitants with children being the majority in Riverine Communities https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YcTZ1mr5_w5SIHLIqBxoMmn74eXxLEOx/view?usp=drivesdk (please access the link using google drive) and Parliament of Hope building completion.
The event was live streamed and only opened to few members of the public to attend physically following the covid-19 guidelines. There were lots of food, drinks, and music. It was a beautiful and colorful night packed with lots of fun.
